Warranty Policy – SoundPEATS Georgia
Warranty Period
12 months from purchase date (Official SoundPEATS warranty)
Covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use.
What’s Covered
Manufacturing Defects:
- Battery not charging or draining too fast
- Bluetooth connection failures
- Sound quality issues (distortion, imbalance)
- Controls not responding (buttons, touch)
- Microphone malfunction
- Case not charging earbuds
- LED indicators not working
Normal Wear and Tear:
Not covered (ear tips degradation, cosmetic scratches from use)
What’s NOT Covered
❌ Physical Damage:
- Dropped or crushed earbuds
- Water/liquid damage (sweat damage NOT covered if excessive)
- Cracked or broken parts
- Run over by vehicle, etc.
❌ Misuse:
- Using incompatible chargers
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Software/firmware tampering
❌ Loss or Theft:
Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.
❌ Cosmetic Issues:
- Minor scratches from normal use
- Color fading over time
- Worn ear tips
Important: Water resistance (if rated) covers splashes, NOT submersion.
6-Month Defect Presumption
Georgian Consumer Law (2022):
If defect appears within 6 months, we assume it existed at purchase unless we prove otherwise.
Your Rights:
- Repair, replacement, or refund (your choice)
- We cannot charge you inspection fees
- Burden of proof is on us
After 6 months:
You may need to demonstrate defect existed before purchase.
How to Claim Warranty
Step 1: Contact Us

Subject: “Warranty Claim – Order #[number]”
Provide:
- Your name and order number
- Purchase date (or order confirmation email)
- Description of problem
- Photos/videos of issue (if possible)
No serial number registration needed!
We verify purchase from our order records.
Step 2: We Respond
Within 2 business days with:
- Warranty approval or denial
- Next steps (return instructions or troubleshooting)
Step 3: Send Product
- We provide return address
- Pack securely in original box (if available)
- We cover return shipping costs
Step 4: Inspection
- We inspect within 3-5 business days
- Confirm defect covered by warranty
- Decide: repair, replace, or refund
Resolution Timeline
We resolve within 10 business days:
- Repair: If minor defect (2-5 days)
- Replacement: If unrepairable (5-7 days)
- Refund: If no stock for replacement (7-10 days)
Extended Repairs:
If repair takes longer than 10 days, we’ll offer replacement or refund instead.
Resolution Options
Priority Order:
- Repair: First option if defect fixable
- Replacement: If repair not possible/practical
- Refund: If no replacement stock available
You can request refund if:
- Same defect occurs 3+ times
- Repair takes longer than promised
- You prefer refund over replacement
Refund Amount:
Full purchase price (minus reasonable depreciation if used >6 months)
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty is VOID if:
- Unauthorized repair attempted
- Serial number/labels removed or tampered
- Product purchased from unauthorized seller (not from us)
- Evidence of intentional damage
Shipping Costs

Replacement Products
If we replace your product:
- Replacement may be new or refurbished (same quality)
- Replacement has remaining warranty period from original purchase (not new 12 months)
- Example: 4 months used = 8 months warranty on replacement
Extended Warranty
Not currently available.
Future: May offer extended warranty purchase option.
Consumer Rights
Under Georgian Consumer Protection Law:
- Right to free repair or replacement
- Right to refund if repair fails
